Where It All Started
Congo Grill was born from a deep love of Congolese food, family, and the desire to share something real with the communities we call home. Growing up, meals were the center of life. Gathered around plates of poulet braisé, saka-saka, and plantains, food was how we expressed love, connection, and identity.
When we arrived in North Carolina, we discovered a thriving, curious food culture ready for bold new flavors. Congo Grill became the bridge between the rich traditions we carry and the communities we now serve.
Today, every plate we serve carries the spirit of that original table. We cook with the same care, the same spices, and the same pride.
